Glippie is a lifestyle brand that practices duality through its glam & grounded nature in combination with holistic practices.
D’Andre is a Licensed Esthetician, Reiki Practitioner, and Makeup Artist from the Southside of Chicago with a background in Fashion Design and hospitality. While he can be quite glamorous in his approach, one can always expect a very grounded and calm nature to how he expresses himself as well as how he treats anyone whom he has the pleasure to work with: This is where the glam and the hippie collide. Bringing a personable experience to each client he strives to exceed the expectations of all clientele by sending them off looking beautiful but also feeling beautiful beyond what the eyes can see. Leaving each client with a fresh new lens on life.
Throughout his journey he has been fortunate to have his work showcased on Fox News, Vh1’s Black Ink Crew Chicago, print work (Chicago Style Magazine, Billie Blunt Magazine, Sugar Magazine) and marketing campaigns (Fille Fleur Fille marketing campaign).
Amongst other learnings, he's found that there's no perfectly crafted mold to fit all people. D'Andre believes that we all deserve the space to show up as all versions of ourselves. With that in mind, he wants to continue to foster a space that embraces all forms of beauty and self expression as well as spiritual growth and love to Mother Earth.
